The Event
The 2025 Club World Cup ushers in a new epoch for global football, debuting a transformative 32-team format. This reinvention sets the stage exclusively for the world's premier clubs to vie for dominance, now hosted in the USA and occurring every four years. This strategic overhaul elevates the tournament into a quadrennial celebration, showcasing the zenith of club football prowess and merit.
The competition's structure is detailed as follows:
1. Initially, a group stage that includes eight groups, with each group comprising four teams. These teams face off in a single-game round-robin format.
2. The top two teams from each group will advance to the round of 16, marking the beginning of the knockout stages.
3. The tournament then proceeds with a direct single-match knockout format from the round of 16 onwards, culminating in the final.
4. Notably, the tournament does not feature a third-place play-off match.

My cousin and I attended the first Mexico soccer games of the 2018 World Cup and World of Discoveries was excellent. The lodging accommodations were great and centrally located. The personnel were wonderful. Thank you Tim for taking care of all our request. I was very surprised to received a message at 3 am informing me that our car was outside waiting to transfer us to the airport. That is the level of service that we received from World of Discoveries. Great company that made our trip even more memorable since it was absolutely hassle free.

We came across WOFDI last spring when we were trying to figure out how to attend the World Cup. The staff at WOFDI organized game tickets and accommodation for us. Communication was excellent throughout. They provided airport transfer and cultural tours as well. Wonderful experience!
