After the party transfer back to the hotel for overnight or keep partying with the old/new friends in the city. Cordoba is the second largest city of Argentina, be ready to experience great night life!

The town itself dates back to 1643 when it was chosen as a Jesuit Estancia, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, it's time to visit the most emblematic wineries of the area! Before dinnertime, be sure to try Rosario’s typical aperitif, the Amargo Obrero.
Day 5 - June 16 - Rosario & Buenos Aires
After breakfast, take a guided tour exploring the best Rosario has to offer. Fantastic waterfront of the Paraná River, which is second-largest in Latin America; birthplace of Che Guevara and Lionel Messi. Taste the best fish in Argentina - thanks to Parana river, meat is not number 1 meal here in Rosario. Transfer to Buenos Aires to your cozy hotel in the downtown and check in.

At daytime, we start with intensive bar crawling and then follow to the beautiful Estadio Alberto J. Armando for the game. After the match and another set of bar crawl, those who wish may return to the hotel however we predict a huge party in the city today. After 4 games, it might already be clear today who is in for play offs. La Plata is the capital of Argentina's Buenos Aires province and is near the city of Buenos Aires (1-hour drive). A planned city, it’s known for its distinctive diagonal avenues. At its center, the open expanse of Plaza Moreno is crowned by the grand, neo-Gothic Cathedral of La Plata. Also on the plaza is the Palacio Municipal, built in German Renaissance style. Opened on June 7, 2003, the Estadio Ciudad de La Plata has capacity of 53,000.
Córdoba is a city about 700 km (435 mi) northwest of the Buenos Aires. The best way to get from Córdoba to Buenos Aires is by airplane. Alternatively, you can get there by bus (it will take 10h 45m), or by train (it will take 10h 45m). It’s home to the country’s oldest surviving university and its rugged outskirts provide plenty of adventurous activities like parasailing and horseback riding. Córdoba is much more relaxed than Buenos Aires, so feel free to linger over a long lunch, relax in the square with a coffee or ice cream, and meet a few of the laid back locals. A football stadium in Córdoba is the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes with a capacity 57,000.
Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina. Visitors have many options such as going to a tango show, an estancia in the Province of Buenos Aires or enjoying the traditional asado. New tourist circuits have recently evolved, devoted to famous Argentines such as Carlos Gardel, Eva Perón or Jorge Luis Borges. The most popular tourist sites are found in the historic core of the city, in the Montserrat and San Telmo neighborhoods. A football stadium in Buenos Aires is the Estadio Alberto J. Armando widely known as La Bombonera. Its capacity is 49,000.
First Time in History!
It would be the first time Australia features in the Copa America, which has traditionally invited teams from outside the continent to make it a 12-team tournament. The Socceroos would be guaranteed five matches, with 12 teams are divided into two groups of six, with the top four advancing to the quarter-finals. Socceroos coach Graham Arnold said the Copa America will provide a further boost to his team as it works through a busy calendar next year.
Uruguay vs Australia / 13 June / Cordoba
The National Team of Uruguay is the biggest winner of the Copa America: with 15 titles. The “Celeste” was the first winner of the tournament, in 1916, and her last achievement of the title was accomplished in 2011, in the tournament that was played in Argentina, defeating Paraguay 3-0. Uruguay has only stopped participating in one of the 45 editions of the Copa América, when in 1925 it decided not to attend the event in Argentina, due to internal problems within its Association.
Paraguay vs Australia / 17 June / La Plata
The Paraguayan team is twice winner of the Copa América. They raised the trophy of the tournament in 1953 and 1979. These two titles, together with the silver medal at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, are the greatest achievements of the Guarani team. In addition, Paraguay reached at least the semifinals in two of the last three editions of the Copa América (final in 2011 and semifinals in 2015), although they won only one of the 15 matches played in those editions (9 ties and 5 losses): it was 1-0, against Jamaica, in 2015.
Bolivia vs Australia / 22 June / La Plata
The most important performance in the history of “La Verde” in the Copa America was in 1963 when the competition was played for the first time in Bolivia and at that time the tournament was still called the South American Football Championship. Besides the great football deployed and having as an ally at the altitude of La Paz, the Bolivian team prevailed in the tournament, an event that made the foundations of the country vibrate. Meanwhile, Bolivia participated three times in a FIFA World Cup: was invited in 1930 and 1950, and qualified for the tournament that was held in the United States 1994.
Argentina vs Australia / 26 June / Buenos Aires
The Argentinian National Team is the second most successful in the CONMEBOL Copa América. With 14 titles in their history, the Albiceleste always makes her fans vibrate, as they are a candidate to win the continental tournament. In addition to the 14 trophies achieved, the Argentines have expressive and historical marks in the tournament. They are the top goalscorers with a total of 455 goals scored and have the biggest victory with a 12-0 against Ecuador, in 1942. Through the history of the tournament, the ‘gauchos’ have 119 victories, more than any other team, and only 39 defeats, the best selection in this section. The country also hosted the competition nine times.
Chile vs Australia / 30 June / Cordoba
Until its 2015 version, Chile was one of the three South American countries that had never won the Copa América. Along with Venezuela and Ecuador, La Roja had some chances especially in the 1950s, where they were runners-up in two consecutive editions, but were not able to secure the trophy. But that year changed the history forever, and under the Golden Generation, with Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sánchez, and Gary Medel, among others, the team was able to beat Argentina in the final game and repeat the story one year later in the Copa America Centenario against the same team in the final.

Impeccable service, incredible Trans Siberian! In fact, the great services provided by your team started from my first correspondence with Julie. She has been very professional with providing details of the itinerary and assuring and re-assuring that the trip will be well-planned, It was because of her assurance that gave us the confidence to take the next step and book our Trans Sibetian holiday. And everything ran like clockwork from Moscow to Vladivostok. The Russian people were extremely friendly throughout. The Trans Siberian was a great experience and fulfilled our dreams. The scenery and ever changing vistas were spectacular. The train facilities were adequate but perhaps a shower facility in 1st Class would have been nice. I will recommend your services in the future!

Travelled on the TransMongolian Railway in Feb/Mar. Not too cold. Just take usual ski gear. Great scenery. Organisation was absolutely excellent. Every transfer and every guide were on time. The hotels were all very good. The Russian Sim (provided by the company) was great for keeping in contact with each other and the support line.
We have finished our trip in Mongolia and I busted to say thank you very much for all your assistance while we were on the ground in Russia. By far the best guide we had was Yuri in Moscow - he was excellent. We had a very good visit to Novgorod where Natalia was an excellent guide too, and we learnt much about Russian history: It was very good to have the car to take us around the Golden Circle and Victor was a good driver. and the guide in Peterhof and Faberge museum was very nice, approachable, taxis were always waiting for us when we got off the boat etc. We both had a very good holiday and learnt a lot about Russian history and culture: thanks again.
Trans- Scandinavian train tour on a private, September 2019 I’s looking for a train trip around Scandinavia and found it was not widely available option with many operators. Mostly, they do coach tours or cruises. World of Discoveries was the first company which offered a solution, a privately arranged non-escorted train trip tour for our small party of just 6 people. We are experienced travelers in our early 40th and always want to be immersed in the culture of a new country, eat local food, meet the people. We wanted an authentic experience and it was a great trip all round. We did not have to worry about our accommodation, or train tickets, or activities in various locations. We had our transfers to and from hotels pre-arranged. Guides provided great insight into Scandinavian culture and were undeniably helpful as we all had different ideas about spare time and extra activities. We went out at every visited city and they gave us lots of great recommendations. Could have stayed for more! Would love the same experience when we visit other, less traveled and remote parts of the world with World of Discoveries! I am a Sydney-based journalist who travelled to the 2018 World Cup with Discovery Russia, the sister company of World of Discoveries. Following is my review of that fabulous experience ... What a trip ... the World Cup, five cities, amazing camaraderie, and great tour leadership against the background of one of the globe’s most amazing countries ... Russia. My World Cup tour with Discovery Russia was one of the great experiences of my travel life. The Discovery Russia team provided a wonderful platform with an itinerary both practical and flexible. The local tours in each of the venue cities - Moscow, Kazan, Samara, Sochi and St Petersburg were informative and, importantly, fun. Considering the accommodation pressures created by the huge influx of Cup tourists, the hotels selected by Discovery Russia were more than adequate. Special mention goes to the Grand Hotel Tchaikovsky In St Petersburg. The tour leadership provided by the company was both expert and considerate. Importantly each traveller’s individual enjoyment and safety appeared to be the paramount consideration. This World Cup holiday was meant to be a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience for me but I am now planning for the next Cup. Bring on 2022 in Qatar!
Iran / USA
We just returned from the World Cup in Russia where we followed Team Iran. This involved travel to three different stadiums many miles apart. Thank goodness we booked through World of Discoveries (Discovery Russia branch)! They arranged our lodging and transport. They even set us up with local English speaking guides to take us to see the interesting and historical sights of this beautiful land. We had a blast. We met new friends, ate great food, drank great vodka and cheered our team on. It was a trip of a lifetime.
